Kitaki Mayu
AnimeFEST! in cooperation with Sony Music Japan is proud to announce a live
performance by Kitaki Mayu at AnimeFEST! 2002.
Kitaki and three band members will be performing on Saturday August
31st. In addition, they will be signing autographs, participating in
panel discussions, and doing press interviews throughout the convention.

AnimeFEST! 2002 in conjunction with Nemesis Records is excited to bring
you one of the hottest rising stars on the Asian American charts.
Kristine will be opening our concert on Saturday August 31st and have

convention.

Scott McNeil
Voice Actor
Hailing from Vancouver, Canada by way of Brisbane, Australia,
Scott started acting at the age of three and hasn't (his mom would
say) stopped since. Spanning more than a decade, and including
over seventy series, Scott's voice career began with The New
Adventures of He-Man way Back in (gasp!)1989. He is perhaps
best known currently as Duo Maxwell in Gundam Wing, Piccolo
(the first) in Dragonball Z, Dinobot, Rattrap, Waspinator,
and Silverbolt in BeastWars, and Wolverine in the new WB
series X-Men Evolution. Among his other voice credits are
Reboot, Monster Rancher, Mummies Alive,
Ranma 1/2, Kong, The Vision of Escaflowne,
Megaman, WarPlanets, Weird-Oh's, Molly O,
Conan the Adventurer, Extreme Dinosaurs,
DragonTales, D'Myna Leagues, Aagh it's the Mister
Hell Show, Double Dragon, Street Fighter, and
GI Joe.
Equally successful in film and television, Scott has starred in
the feature films Sleeping with Strangers and Sleeping
Dogs and guest starred on numerous television series and
features, including; Highlander, The Outer Limits,
Beyond Belief, Beggars and Choosers, and Disney's
Ladies and the Champ, to name a few.
Scott loves cartoons most of all because, Hey, it's indoor work
with no heavy lifting.
Monica Rial
Voice Actress
Monica lives in Houston and works as a voice acrtess for ADV Films. She
has played Miharu in Gasaraki, Natsume in Generation Gawl,
Gin Fizz in Sorcerer on the Rocks, Izumi in Princess Nine,
Saki in Steel Angel Kurumi, Mikako in Nadesico, Hyatt in
Excel Saga, and Nozomi in Chance Pop Sessions. This will be
Monica's first time at AnimeFEST!
Kirby Morrow
Voice Actor
Canadian voice actor who did the voices, for the North American
releases, of Van Fanel in Escaflowne, Trowa Barton in
Gundam Wing, Goku in Dragonball Z
#144, and Woody in First Gundam. He has also done voices
for many non-anime shows including "Jimmy Wu" in ActionMan,
"Cyclops" in X-Men: Evolution, and four voices from
Jackie Chan - Stuntmaster.
Stephanie Nadolny
Voice Actor
Stephanie is currently the voice of Boy Goku and Boy Gohan in the
outrageously popular television series, Dragonball and
Dragonball Z. Working with the production company FUNimation since
1999, she's also contributed voices to other characters, including East
Kai and Baby Trunks.
Kyle Hebert
Voice Actor
Best known as the voice of teenage Gohan on Dragonball Z, he
has also been a regular cast member on all of Funimation's anime
productions since the summer of 2000. This included playing Sgt. Robert
Bradley in Blue Gender, Ox King in Dragonball, Okubo in
Yu Yu Hakusho, Butrakari in Lupin III , and numerous minor
supporting roles. Kyle is very interactive with fans through his
successful website (average 15,000 hits daily) which focuses on voice
acting, Funimation, anime, toys, video games, movies, and building an
online community www.kylehebert.com. This is Kyle's
first AnimeFEST! appearance.
Michael Coleman
Voice Actor
Michael Coleman jumped into the voice scene last year and has become
one of the fastest rising voices in the game. In his first year as a VA
Michael booked guest appearances voicing various supporting characters in
episodes of Ranma ½, Cardcaptors and continues to voice the
characters "Idasa & Mokki" for Dragonball Z. He then voiced a new
cartoon pilot with fellow VA Kirby Morrow, Flippo and the Sea Nymphs
, where Michael and Kirby supplied the voices for all of the
characters in the show! Michael also landed the role of "Sunspot" aka
"Roberto De Costa" a new recruit in the WB’s X-Men: Evolution at
the end of season II and has continued this year in episodes for season
III. Michael also made a guest appearance in an episode of the animated
series Mary-Kate & Ashley and performed in the animated feature Ark
starring many of today’s top anime stars and James Woods. Michael was cast
as the new "Chibodee Crocket" aka "Gundam America" in the new G Gundam
series, but unfortunately was unable to perform the role as the
production moved out of town when the producers and the union could not
reach an amicable agreement. Recently Michael has worked on the new anime
series Project Arms and more episodes DBZ and looks forward to the
many new projects coming up this year!
Christopher Patton
Voice Actor
Christopher Patton has been acting professionally for the past ten years
in his hometown of Houston, finding great satisfaction on almost every
major stage in the Houston and surrounding areas. In '98 he began his
voice acting career by answering a "cattle call" ad in the Houston Press
for a company called ADV Films. Things quickly got exciting and by '99 and
2000, Christopher had landed his two biggest roles with ADV to date,
Yushiro Gowa in Gasaraki and Yu Ominae in Spriggan. He also
played Daley Wong in BGC 2040, Seishiro Natsume in Princess Nine
, and a character in the soon-to-be-released Chance Pop Sessions
. Other credits with ADV include one-shots and additional voice work
on Sin:The Movie, Masters of Mosquiton , Generator Gawl
, Sorcerer Hunters , Original Dirty Pair , Martian
Successor Nadesico, and more. Christopher has developed a great
fondness for the genre, and looks forward to an ever- growing career in
this most exciting of fields.
Scott Frazier
Animator
Scott Frazier learned about the animation production process by
working at various small production companies and attending
International Animation Institute in Japan. Eventually he taught
animation production techniques throughout Asia. Scott then moved
on to be a co-founder of Genesis Digital Publishing and to
work as both a president and producer for Production I.G. USA
. He has now moved back to the United States but continues to
travel throughout Asia and the US teaching animation techniques
and speaking at conventions.
Bruce Lewis
Artist/Writer
Bruce Lewis is a comics artist, writer, and pop culture
enthusiast. He wrote and drew the Robotech: Invid War Aftermath,
Robotech: Hohsq's Story, and Robotech Aftermath: Megaroad series
for Malibu Comics and Academy Comics, and, as a part of Studio
Go!, edited, wrote and illustrated Star Blazers: The Magazine of
Space Battleship Yamato for Voyager Entertainment's Argo Press
imprint. He also wrote and illustrated the four-issue Gall Force:
Eternal Story miniseries for CPM Manga, and has colored, lettered,
and produced many more comics titles.
Krista Perry
Fanfic Author
Krista is a prolific Fan Fiction author and respected member of
the FanFic Mailing List (FFML). She's also written 23 chapters of
an ongoing Ranma 1/2 FanFic series called "Hearts of Ice" which
has won several accolades. More recently she has written fan-fic
of Detective Conan, Inu-Yasha, Gundam Wing, and many other series.

Dallas Kiyari Daiko
Taiko Drum Performers
Over the last several years, the Dallas "Kiyari" Daiko Group has become
well known in the Dallas and Fort Worth areas and the ensemble is now
performing by invitation for civic organizations, schools and businesses.
The reaction from the audience has been overwhelmigly enthusiastic. Each
member of Kiyari is pleased to be able to share Japanese Culture with the
communities of North and Central Texas through the exciting musical medium
of the Taiko beat.
They will be performing during our
Opening Ceremonies.
