AFTV: AnimeFEST Television

We are excited to announce the return of AnimeFEST TV! The hotel has agreed to allow us to take over one of the hotel's private TV channels during the convention. Members who get hotel rooms will be able to view AnimeFEST programming right from their hotel room!

A majority of the panels, workshops, and special events during the convention will be recorded and shown one or more times over the weekend. That way if you miss a live event and you have a hotel room, you have a good chance of being able to watch it on AF-TV later that weekend.

Current programming plans:

• Updated activity and theater schedules
• Convention news updates
• Fan Video Contest
• Recorded Panels, Workshops and Events
• Guest Interviews
• Japanese TV commercials
• Recorded events from past conventions (Opening ceremonies, etc...)
• Anime showings and premiers (Currently seeking submissions and permissions from companies)
• Past AnimeFEST convention events

Other tentative ideas (we need people to do them!):

• Anime Daily Show (parody of Comedy Central's "Daily Show")
• Anime Club Advertisements (send us your video advertisements)

We are also looking for ideas (and volunteers) for original TV shows, parodies, etc... to create before or during the convention to show on the channel. Please contact aftv@animefest.org if you have ideas or want to volunteer.
