Requirements

AnimeFest offers complimentary press passes for individuals meeting at least one the following criteria:

• Verifiably employed journalist or photographer with a TV, radio, periodical, or newspaper. Press credentials will be required upon arrival.
• Writer or photographer for an online magazine, blog, podcast, or webcomic with over 1000 unique hits per month. We must be given some way to verify this.
• Student journalists with letters of intent from their school, on official letterhead.

In all cases, photo ID must be presented upon arrival.

Press Pass Benefits

Approved AnimeFest press badge holders have the following benefits:

• All the benefits of an AnimeFest member
• You may request interviews with our guests or staff. Interviews should be scheduled prior to the event and may not be possible with all guests. Interview requests should be made by sent email to press@animefest.org or by calling 972-596-3561.
• Additional freedom of movement at some events for photography. In many cases this cannot be guaranteed until just prior to the event.

Members of the press do not have access to the guest hospitality suite (Pro-Suite) as this is a place for our guests to relax, not work.
